A A ADate of publication: | 29.12.2023 |
The yearbook is a basic, collective study of the Office, which is a compilation of statistical data and information characterising the standard of living of the society, the state of the economy and the natural environment of the voivodship in 2022. I encourage you to familiarise yourself with the statistical data contained in this edition of the Yearbook. To enable analysis of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the socio-economic situation in the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodship, the publication also includes information covering the year 2019 immediately preceding the pandemic. All issues are grouped into 21 thematic sections. I would particularly like to draw your attention to the statistics on employed persons, which from 2022 onward are presented with increased use of administrative data sources. The thematic scope of the section ‘Wages and salaries. Social benefits.’ has been enriched with the results of the representative survey on the structure of wages and salaries for October 2022. The Yearbook includes the final results of the National Population and Housing Census 2021, among other things, in the scope of persons with disabilities. Also published are the results of the population projection until 2060 developed in 2023 based on the population baseline as of 31 December 2022. Compared to the previous edition of the publication, the scope of selected sections has been expanded to include the presented indicators of the Delimitation of Rural Areas (DOW) for statistical purposes developed by Statistics Poland. Selected information is illustrated in cartograms, cartodiagrams, charts and diagrams. To enable a proper interpretation of the content presented, I encourage you to read the general notes, which provide explanations of the terminology, methodology and scope of the information contained in the publication. A component of the publication is review tables including i.a. the most important statistical data on the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodship in comparison with the country for the year 2022 and retrospectively for the years 2000, 2010, 2015. |
