The yearbook is a basic, collective study of the Office, which is a compilation of statistical data and information characterising the standard of living of the society and the state of the economy of the voivodship in 2020.

The statistical data have been grouped into 21 thematic chapters. In the current edition the preliminary results of the Agricultural Census 2020 are presented. The thematic scope of the “Wages and salaries. Social benefits” chapter was enriched with the results of the survey on the structure of wages and salaries for October 2020.  Information concerning trade and catering was combined with price statistics. They were grouped in the combined chapter “Trade. Prices”.

Selected phenomena are illustrated on cartograms, cartodiagrams, charts and diagrams. The general comments, which contain explanations on the terminology, methodology and scope of information contained in the study are included in order to enable proper interpretation of the presented information.

The publication also includes review tables containing the most important statistical data about the Kujawsko-Pomorskie-Voivodship against the background of the country for 2020 and retrospectively for the years: 2000, 2010, 2015, 2020.

The pdf file of the „Statistical Yearbook of Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodship 2021” was modified in the chapter XI „Science and technology. Information society” on page 109:

• in table 4 (86):

• in the 1st row from the top of the 4th column the number of technicians and equivalent staff for the year 2020 was correcrted  (from 604.5 to 604.7);
• in the 3rd row from the bottom of the 4th column the number of technicians and equivalent staff in manufacturing for the year 2020 was correcrted (from 354.4 to 354.6);
• in the 4th row from the bottom of the 4th column the number of technicians and equivalent staff in industry for the year 2020 was correcrted (from 354.4 to 354.6).

• in the 1st row from the top of the 5th column the sown area on private farms was corrected (from 849.8 to 849.4);

• in table 5 (92):

• in 10th row from the top of the 3rd column the value of production of potatoes for the year 2019 was corrected (from 489563 to 487281);
• in the 10th row from the top of the 4th column the value of production of potatoes for the year 2020 was corrected (from 669583 to 665647);
• in the 4th row of the 4th column the value of yields of potatoes per 1 ha in decitonnes for the year 2020 was corrected (from 336 to 337).
