Tasks       

The Statistical Office in Bydgoszcz belongs to the official statistics services subordinated to Statistics Poland and acts on the basis of:

• Law dated 29 June 1995 on Public Statistics (consolidated text in Dz. U. – Journal of Laws – of 2019, item 649 as amended),
• Regulation No. 2 of the President of Statistics Poland dated 22 February 2012 on the statute for the Statistical Office in Bydgoszcz (Dz. Urz. GUS – Official Journal of Statistics Poland, item 10 as amended),
• Law dated 21 November 2008 on Civil Service (Dz. U. – Journal of Laws – No. 227, item 1505 as amended),
• Organization Statute of the Office.

Territorial range       

From 1 January 1999 the territorial range of activity of the Statistical Office in Bydgoszcz is the area of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodship.

Information centres and libraries are located in the head office in Bydgoszcz (room no.12) and in branch offices situated in Inowrocław, Toruń and Włocławek. More »

Tasks:

• dissemination by telephone, letter and personally of statistical data from:
  • publications of Statistics Poland and the Statistical Office in Bydgoszcz,
  • communiqués of Statistics Poland and the Statistical Office in Bydgoszcz,
• informing about new publications of Statistics Poland and the Statistical Office in Bydgoszcz, publications accessible in the Office`s library, publications available for sale,
• receiving orders for unpublished statistical data from data bases of the Statistical Office in Bydgoszcz, preparing statistical descriptions on the basis of information published by Statistics Poland.

Matters relating to  the National Official Business Register REGON are dealt with at the head office of the Statistical Office in Bydgoszcz (room no. 12) and in its branches in: Inowrocław, Toruń and Włocławek. More »

Support for people with        
disabilities        

Office building units and buildings are designed to have disability access (wheelchairs).

Since April 2012, there is also the possibility to use the assistance of a sign language interpreter.

Complaints and        
suggestions        

Complaints and suggestions concerning the operation of the Office are being accepted at the Statistical Office in Bydgoszcz and its branches in Inowrocław, Toruń and Włocławek on each business day from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
